This program is offered in two modules, each taking three months. The course includes a broad range of challenging, faith-building, and biblically-based studies relevant for personal, pastoral, church and community life.

Module #1 (3 Months)

Devotional Life

Bible study habits for personal life and preaching, prayer habits. Personal daily devotional life is the springboard for developing a rich, rewarding  and productive relationship with the Lord. The key to living a life of continuous victories beyond human comprehension, is be in touch with God in a practical way, also called “fellowship of the Spirit” or “abiding in Christ”.

Personal Character

Character is a spiritual Fruit that is built from our real, godly relationship and commitment to Christ as LORD. Dealing with corruption, false doctrine, deception, discernment and spiritual gifts it is the fiber of our moral center that stretches throughout our being, embracing and holding together our relationships when it is sealed as a choice and commitment, and not just a feeling or a personality. Character synergistically combines with the Fruit of the Spirit and the seventy or so other characters of our Lord to promote our ability to relate and grow in our relations, to better others as well as ourselves.


Preaching and Pastoral Ministry Practics 

This course presents a biblical understanding of the ministry of preaching. Combines principles of effective communication with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to inspire passionate and relevant preaching. Students learn the crucial steps in constructing a biblical sermon.

This course will focus on teaching a methodology for effective and relevant preaching. Effective preaching gathers one’s biblical and cultural knowledge and wisdom, connects it and surrenders it to Christ and his Spirit for the purpose of effective biblical proclamation. It consists Conducting Baptism, Communion, funerals and weddings.



Devotional Life: (Bible study habits for personal life and preaching, prayer habits etc)


This course is designed to provide participants with some clarity on parenting and how parents can provide a convenient environment for their children to become what God intended them to be. We shall examine the different types of parenting and learn how to apply the most effective way. In addition, the class examines the gap between good intentions and right responses in the way we parent.

            Students will develop a new personal awareness regarding the homes they grew up from and develop a new perspective towards becoming better parents.

Students at the end of the course, will be able to,

  • Identify the best way to parent,
  • Examine inconsistencies in their own childhood development,
  • Learn how to deal with different childhood temperaments,
  • Be able to distinguish childhood behaviors from childish behaviors, among others.

Work and Ministry

The theology of work this includes Work Ethic, getting out of poverty and dealing with poverty mindset. You will learn to live all of life for the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31), the need a God-centered view of work. It’s not enough that we try to honor God in how we do our work, or that we try to be Christlike to people at work, or that we support God’s kingdom with the money we make from work. The glory of God must inform and transform our view of work itself.

ATC continues to grow and impact both Pastors and Leaders. We have seen great progress in many areas and yet in other areas we need a greater commitment from Pastors and those who send students to ATC to prepare their students before they send them.
